ARHA Point Results
We’re so happy you decided to show with the Ranch Horse Association of Michigan! Here are the answers to some commonly asked questions about showing:
All-Age Classes: These are commonly called “Open” classes at other shows. Anyone who is a member of ARHA can show in these classes, both professional and non-professional.
Amateur Classes: Any ARHA exhibitor who holds a valid ARHA Amateur Card may show in an Amateur Class.
Youth Classes: Any ARHA exhibitor who is 18 or younger at the beginning of the year, and who holds a valid ARHA Youth Card, may show in Youth Classes. In larger classes, the show secretary may split the class into 14 to 18 and 13 & under.
All Breed Classes: Anyone can show in an All Breed Class, regardless if the exhibitor or the horse is registered with ARHA or RHAM.
Registration: To compete for points, year-end awards or versatility awards, exhibitors, owners and their horses must be registered with ARHA. For any RHAM award (year-end and/or versatility) the exhibitor must also be a member of RHAM.
Pre-Registration Discount: by emailing your entry form to the Show Secretary at least 7 days in advance of the show, you qualify for reduced entry fees.
Here’s what you’ll need to bring with you to the show:
- Your completed Entry Form, with all appropriate signatures
- Your horse’s ARHA registration papers, and a copy for the show office*
- Your ARHA Membership Card and the horse owner’s ARHA Membership card, and copies for the show office*

- Current year’s Coggins papers and a copy for the show office
